Ameena Saeed Hasan discusses the Yazidi Minority, Iraq, and Human Trafficking (VID)

ISIS began targeting the Yazidi minority in 2014. Thousands have fled their homeland and thousands have been enslaved by ISIS, or ISIL, soldiers who take women and children and sell them into sexual slavery and forced marriages. Ameena Saeed Hasan, a 2015 TIP Hero, is a Yazidi and an advocate for her people. A former member of the Iraq parliament, she continues to advocate for the international community to help in whatever way is possible. Learn more and watch the video!
