TIPAWARDS.COM and all other websites and/or domains hosted in conjunction with this domain (the "Site") are services of National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, a non-profit organization based in Cincinnati, OH.

National Underground Railroad Freedom Center has created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting your information and informing you about how we handle your information. This privacy policy applies to all interactions with, transactions made, and data gathered on the Site. Please review this privacy policy periodically as we may update it from time to time. Information Other Web Sites Collect From You

On the Site, we place links to other web sites operated by other parties. Some of these other web sites contain our brand names and trademarks and other intellectual property that we own; others do not. How We Use Your Information

We use your information, including your personal and financial information, to help us efficiently perform transactions on the Site, to deliver the services you have requested, to contact you when necessary in connection with events for which you purchased items and services on the Site (including event confirmations, changes and cancellations), and to send you information, offers, and other promotional materials. We carefully select the information we send to you and attempt to send you offers that are of value to you, such as discounts, exclusive offers or special event information. We do not share or sell email addresses gathered on the Site except as described in this Privacy Policy.

  • By subscribing to our email newsletter (or electing to receive communications of any kind through the Site), you consent to us providing your email to our third-party email provider to facilitate the delivery of email. However, your email address will not be otherwise shared or sold except as described in this Privacy Policy.
  • To process transactions on the Site, we may share your information, including your personal and financial information, with our agents, representatives, contractors, and service providers so they can provide us with support services such as authorization of credit card transactions, order fulfillment and sweepstakes and promotional fulfillment.   • Your personal information may be passed on to a third party in the unlikely event of a transfer of ownership or assets, or a bankruptcy, of National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. How We Use Financial Information

We use your financial information to check your qualifications, to process gifts and donations, to bill you for products and services, and to enable you to participate in discount, rebate, and similar programs in which you may elect to participate. By making a purchase or donation, or engaging in any other kind of activity that uses financial information, on the Site, you consent to our providing your financial information to our service providers and to such third parties as we determine is necessary to process your transactions, as well as to your credit card issuer for their purposes. How We Use Demographic Information

We use demographic information to tailor the Site and communications to the interests of our users. We may share anonymous, aggregated (i.e. grouped) demographic information to third parties (such as potential partners, investors, grant making organizations, and foundations), so that they can tailor their advertisements and communications to the appropriate audience.

Our Security Precautions

Strong precautions are taken to protect the information of the users of our Site. When users submit sensitive information via the Site, that Information is protected both online and off-line. Although we endeavor to provide reasonably security for all information we collect and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches, and National Underground Railroad Freedom Center cannot and does not guarantee that its security procedures will prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of your information. California Do Not Track Disclosures

 

The Site does not collect personally identifiable information about users’ online activities over time and across third-party web sites or online services. For this reason, at this time, the Site does not respond to “do not track” signals. Third parties may collect personally identifiable information through the Site as described in this Privacy Policy.

Linked Sites

Third party websites and content that you visit, including linked to by the Site, may have separate privacy policies or no policy at all. Those third parties may use your information differently than this Privacy Policy permits. We strongly encourage you to review those privacy policies before providing any information to any third party.

Children's Privacy

National Underground Railroad Freedom Center does not use the Site to knowingly solicit data from or market to individuals under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided information to us through the Site without their consent, he or she should contact us at cbenadum@nurfc.org and we will delete such information within a reasonable time.

How You Can Access and Update Your Personal Information and other Account Information

We give you the opportunity to modify information you have provided to us at any time by logging into the system and navigating to your account and selecting those portions of your account you would like to update. Please note that changing or deleting your information through your account profile will only change or delete the data in our database for purposes of transacting future business on the Site and for managing future communications from Cincinnati Museum Center. These changes and deletions will not change or delete:

A) Information already collected as part of a particular purchase in our transactions database which may be shared with third parties involved in the processing of financial transactions, as discussed above; or

B) Information that we may have already forwarded to credit card companies or any other third parties, all as provided above in this privacy policy.
